AN INTERMITTENT CHARACTER OF THE LAMINAR CONDENSATION
Abstract
Values of condensing fluxes of vapour gas mixtures flowing with low intensity were compared. Results obtained experimentally and computed theoretically differed substantially. An explenation of these discrepances was attempted through analysis of the intermittent nature of condensation.
Pulsations of temperatures appeard in vapour gas phase in the condensor. These pulsations were recorded, their structure described and reasons of appearance discussed.
Quantification of obtained results and observations was attempted by applying the coefficient of intermittency.
