Numerical Investigation of Turbulent Heat Transfer by Impinging Jets
Abstract
Flow and heat transfer of impinging axial and radial jets have been calculated by large eddy simulation LES employing a dynamic subgrid stress model. Computed results show good agreement with available experimental results. Computed results have been used to propose new damping constants for a low Reynolds number k-ε model.
