EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATIONS OF A HEATED NONBUOYANT JET IN A CROSS-STREAM: TEMPERATURES AND THEIR FLUCTUATIONS
Аннотация
Results of an experimental investigation of a heated nonbuoyant round air jet discharged out of a tube extending through the wall into a colder air cross-stream are presented for constant momentum flux ratio of 15 and density ratio of .927. Resulting distributions of air temperatures and their fluctuation intensities are shown. Analises of their development downstream of the pipe gave a deeper insight into the physics of the phenomena.
