要約

The investigation of boiling heat transfer is of interest in many engineering fields. A large number of papers on this topic have been published which essentially cover steady-state heat transfer. However, the boiling heat transfer process under the condition of flow oscillations has not been extensively studied. This paper presents the results of experimental data on boiling heat transfer coefficient for Freon-11 evaporating and oscillating in vertical tubes with six different surface conditions, as well as the results of high speed photographic observations. The results have been correlated for predicting the heat transfer coefficient in this case.
