HEAT TRANSFER TO NEWTONIAN AND NON-NEWTONIAN FLUIDS FLOWING ACROSS TUBE BANKS
Résumé
Heat transfer coefficients are measured with water and 1.0 to 4.0% aqueous Carboxymethyl Cellulose solutions flowing across a triangular tube bank of pitch 1.43 cm. A parallel plate channel model is used to define the flow in the bank. Based on this model a single valued correlation is proposed for both Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids.
