EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF THE SUPERHEATED BOUNDARY LAYER IN FORCED CONVECTION BOILING
Résumé
The results of the measured temperature fluctuation within the superheated boundary layer in two-phase flow of water are presented. A specially developed microthermocouple probe was employed to measure the temperature fluctuation within the superheated boundary layer. From the statistical analyses of the thermocouple emf the most probable temperature difference of water and vapour phases were determined. On the basis of these results a considerable superheating of water was found. The conclusion is that the real quality is lower than the same value calculated by equilibrium model of two-phase flow.
