DIFFUSION THROUGH LAMINATED ORTHOTROPIC CYLINDERS
Sinopsis
The transient temperature distribution in a laminated composite consisting of k two-dimensional (r, θ, t) orthotropic cylinders is solved. The solution is developed by applying Fourier transforms to the system and then using the unique orthogonality relationships developed by Vodicka. The solution gives the temperature distribution in any of the k-cylinders for any position and time for the most general type of linear boundary, internal and initial conditions.
