HEAT TRANSFER IN A TURBULENT BOUNDARY LAYER ON A PERMEABLE PLATE
Sinopsis
The paper concerns itself with a theoretical and experimental study of a turbulent boundary layer and heat transfer on a flat permeable plate with injection.
When solving the problem theoretically Kuethe model describing the wall flow was used to obtain heat flux dependence on injection intensity. In the turbulent core region the equation for turbulent viscosity was used for flow calculation.
Experimental study of heat transfer and turbulent boundary layer structure on a permeable plate has been carried out with different gas injection on an aerodynamic tube. Interferometric and thermoanemometer devices has been employed.
