HEAT TRANSFER FROM A ROTATING DISK IN AN IMPINGING ROUND AIR JET
Abstract
An experimental investigation is reported of local heat transfer coefficients from a rotating disk in a round turbulent normally impinging air jet. Some of the experimental results are compared with calculated results of an approximate analisis, based on a combination of new obtained data for a rotating disk in still air and a jet impinging on a stationary isothermal surface.
