RADIATION EFFECTS IN AN OPTICALLY THICK NON-NEWTONIAN BOUNDARY LAYER WITH INJECTION AND SUCTION
Abstract
Similarity transformations are obtained for simultaneous convection and radiation in axisymmetrical, optically thick boundary layer flow of non-Newtonian, power-law fluids. Numerical solutions are presented for the special case of flow over a wedge with both boundary layer injection and suction. The influence of the non-Newtonian power-law exponent and injection and suction on the temperature profile and wall heat flux are investigated.
