EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON TURBULENT HEAT TRANSFER IN ECCENTRIC ANNULAR PASSAGES
Abstrakt
The influence of eccentricity and Re
number on avarage heat transfer coefficient
in eccentric annular passages is presented.
In the case of forced convection heat transfer
to air at the inner wall of a vertical
annular passage with the boundary conditions
of the first kind (Twi=const) at inner
wall and the second kind (qwo=O) at outer
wall, it is evident from the obtained data
that the intensity of convective heat transfer
decreases, when eccentricity increases.
The rate of decreasing of average heat transfer
coefficient comparing to the value for concentric case is:24%,28%,33%,36%,38%
when Re number was 11000,14200,24000,26300,
29000,respectively.
