NATURAL CONVECTION TURBULENT MASS TRANSFER ALONG AN INCLINED SURFACE
Abstract
The present study expands the data base for natural convection along an inclined surface by the use of an electrochemical mass transfer technique. Both overall and local mass transfer rates are measured. A widely used scaling law is found to be appropriate only for laminar flow, heat/mass transfer results along an inclined surface. A new scaling law for fully-turbulent heat/mass transfer along an inclined surface is proposed.
