HEAT TRANSFER AND HYDRODYNAMICS ON A CONVEX SURFACE WITH PRESSURE GRADIENT
Abstract
The report deals with the results of theoretical and
experimental studies in heat transfer and hydrodynamics
on a convex surface of constant curvature. Shear flow, wall
jet and film cooling (the effects of the initial boundary
layer thickness, porous injection) are considered for a
gradient-free flow. The influence of a positive pressure
gradient was studied as applied to shear flow and that of
a negative pressure gradient was studied as applied to shear
flow and film cooling.
