OPTIMAL THERMAL PROCESSING OF COMPOSITE MATERIALS: AN INVERSE ALGORITHM AND ITS EXPERIMENTAL VALIDATION
摘要
We present an algorithm to control spatial progression of a strong exothermal reaction in the heart of a thick composite material piece made of fiberglass and thermosetting resin. Strong interdependency of thermophysical properties on both the temperature and the state of cure is taken into account.
The experimental validation of the algorithm is also presented and demonstrates that optimal control approach can be prefered to empirical one.
