Transient Conjugate Heat Transfer from a Rapidly Heated Strip
摘要
This paper addresses transient conjugate heat transfer from a small, two-dimensional heated strip adjacent to a steady shear flow. Fully transient descriptions of the heat transfer in the fluid and the solid are included. The solution method is a variant of the boundary element method involving geometry- specific Green's functions. Results for simulated air flow show that the fully-transient fluid-side theory is important for a short-duration heating event or for high-sampling-rate observations of the interface temperature.
