Аннотация

This work focuses on the Inverse Heat Conduction Radiation Problem (IHCRP) of estimating the transient isotropic radiation intensity emitted by an external heat source and the temperature and radiative heat flux profiles from two distinct temperature histories within a semitransparent gray slab. The estimations are done from the energy equation with a space-marching technique, previously developed to solve the IHCRP for the case of a semitransparent slab bounded by opaque walls. Here, the case of a semitransparent boundary is considered. The feasibility of the proposed solution is demonstrated, and a comparison between the results obtained with the proposed method and those obtained for the case of opaque boundaries is made. Exact, noisy and filtered noisy input data are used for the comparisons.
