In this paper three test pieces with offset-strip-fin passages and three with wavy-fin passages for the air flow and heat transfer were used as the reduced scale models of ramjet engine combustor cooling passages. The empirical criterion correlations of flow resistance and heat transfer have been obtained based on the different geometric parameters for the offset-strip-fin and wavy-fin passages, respectively. Heat flux calculation of combustor cooling passages with two researched type fins showed, when appropriate geometric sizes of fins and lower temperature of hydrogen coolant will be selected, the heat flux of cooling passages may be higher than 2 × 106W/m2 ,and it will satisfy the requirement for cooling combustor of ramjet engine.
