LAMINAR FORCED CONVECTION HEAT TRANSFER OF A NON NEWTONIAN FLUID IN THE ENTRANCE REGION OF A SQUARE DUCT WITH DIFFERENT BOUNDARY CONDITIONS
Аннотация
A numerical simulation was carried out to solve the full
three dimensional governing equations for steady developing
laminar flow in a square cross section duct. The fluid was
considered to be a purely viscous one which follows the power law behavior. Effect of temperature-dependent viscosity as well as viscous dissipation are included. Results are presented over a wide range power law indices and Prandtl numbers for both constant heat flux (both axially and peripherally) and constant wall temperature boundary conditions.
