Аннотация

The influence of gas turbine blade coating characteristics on the mechanisms of heat and mass transfer coupled with deposition and erosion hazard is presented. Stationary and transient heat and mass transfer measuring methods, as well as laboratory experiments including sample preparation for deposit structure examination, developed and verified on a small rotating model, are reported. The small model contains an electrically driven rotor with air-cooled inserts of simplified cross-section, which simulate the gas turbine cooled blades. The inserts rotate in a ceramic combustion chamber supplied with fuel, air and ash-creating additives. Heat and mass transfer experimental data obtained on the model for a gas temperature range up to 2100°K and an aerosol concentration range up to 3.5% for submicron and supermicron particles are discussed. An experimental coal fired gas turbine is described. The experimental results obtained are presented and discussed.
