Аннотация

This paper is a focused effort on of radiative heat transfer in scattering media directed toward the contributions of spectrally-dependent real gas absorption and anisotropic scattering of nonspherical particulate. Methods to include gas absorption and particulate scattering are reviewed and the photon path length approach is summarized. Particle radiation properties for polydispersions are given and techniques to incorporate randomly-oriented nonspherical particles are discussed. Specific applications indicate the importance of general particle properties as well as gas absorption and particle scattering interactions. Some experimental results of emission from gas and particle mixtures are presented.
