Аннотация

In order to evaluate the evaporation rate from a salt pond it is necessary to gather the air characteristics and to assess the physical parameters of the pond surface. For this purpose, it is absolutely necessary to take into account the vapor pressure reduction due to the salt content in water. Moreover one must estimate the accumulation term in the heat balance since the whole process is perpetually unstationnary. It is proposed, in this paper, to replace the usual method of acquisition of information on radiation by the measurement of water surface temperature. This last parameter indicates the efficiency of solar energy intake. This paper contains also experimental results for the mass transfer coefficient as given by experiments on a test pond of 237 m2. It is then possible to calculate the evaporation rate from any surface.
