A relatively simple method has been worked out, which enables at certain restrictions to determine by an approaching analytic way the average values of the potential functions occurring in heat and mass transfer processes. The method is based on the introduction of an auxiliary function, approaching form of which can be directly determined by Laplace transformation from system of the differential equations. By numerical calculations can be shown, that the approaching method is of satisfying reliability in the interval of the independent variable we are interested from practical point of view in.
