NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF SUPERSONIC FLAT PLATE BOUNDARY LAYER RECEPTIVITY TO THREE-DIMENSIONAL ACOUSTIC DISTURBANCES
Resumo
In the present work, we consider the excitation and development of the first mode of instability on the plate at Mach number of the incoming flow M = 3, wall temperature close to adiabatic, and Reynolds number Re∞=2×107. Based on direct numerical simulations, the values of the receptivity coefficients and critical amplitudes of the longitudinal velocity vector pulsation component in the supersonic
boundary layer on a flat plate at angles of attack 0 and 5 were obtained.
