Resumo

In many practical problems of the heat transfer it is often needed to have information about the heat flux. The auxiliary wall method offers to use the gradient heat flux sensors (GHFS) for the heat transfer investigation. In such kind sensors the Seebeck effect realizes and generates the elektro-moutive force (thermo-E.M.F.) per unit of the heat flux, proportional to the temperature gradient (constant or variable one).
For transient heat transfer the response time is linearly independent of- the sizes of the GHFS and needs further research.
The existence of GHFS allowed investigation to be made of the heat flux in diesel engine as a function of the crankshaft's rotation angle, to measure thermal radiation, to solve a number of other problems.
