Resumo

Experimental investigations were performed of boiling heat transfer from porous surfaces with spiral 20°,30°,40° V-shaped grooves on the tubes, around which copper wires were uniformly wrapped, using distilled water, F-113, ethanol as working fluids at atmospheric pressure. The results showed that the heat transfer enhancement of the structures was reasonably good. An analytical model was proposed for medium and high heat fluxes. Considering the liquid film, the mechanism of heat transfer on the porous surfaces with small pores and connected cavities and the angle effects of the V-shaped grooves were analyzed.
