Resumo

The results of the experimental study of the influence of inert gas injection (nitrogen, helium, argon) obtained for the heat and mass transfer in the turbulent boundary layer are discussed in the paper. The experiments have been performed in the air flow on the burning graphite surface (Tω = 1500−20000K ) as well as in cylindrical and both confusory and diffusory channels. The injection of the inert gas through the porous reaction wall and the effectiveness of gaseous screening down the stream have been the objects of study. The experimental results are in agreement with theoretical equations.
