Resumo

Radiative transfer has been considered within a plane participating slab assuming the externally applied radiation to impinge obliquely on one boundary of the slab while the other boundary has been assumed to reflect in a diffuse way. Absorption and scattering (according to a linearly anisotropic law) have been considered within the slab. The resulting non azymuthal symmetric problem has been solved rigorously through a constructive pro cedure based on projectional methods. The distributions of the physically relevant variables in some significant situations have been evaluated and the role of the different optical parameters has also been discussed.
