要約

The discrete method was used to predict the effective thermal conductivity of sintered porous media, including the heat transfer between neighbouring particles. Ten thousand particles were analysed to eliminate the variations in the effective thermal conductivity of sintered porous media as the number of particles decreased. The random particle distribution in the sintered porous media was simulated as a stochastic process guided by the simulated annealing (SA) algorithm. As a result, the present method captures both the interface geometry and the random characteristics of the sintered porous media. The method is validated by comparisons with experiment data.
