要約

Recently, necessity of power plant's high efficiency is frequently mentioned, due to the electronic power shortage. Increasing the efficiency of the condenser is one of the common methods for increasing the power plant's efficiency. Due to the damage of condenser tube by bypass steam, regular maintenance is required. As a solution of this problem, improvement of current condenser system is required. The purpose of this study is to develop a compact steam dump which is reducing a damage of condenser tube. Steam dump equipment is composed of hole which ejects steam hole and reflecting plate which decreases pressure of steam. To developed improved model we add a reflection plate to bottom part. To find the optimal location of dispersion of hole and angle of reflecting plate which is design parameter, we have conducted a sensitivity analysis by using FLUENT 14.0. We have selected a model, which is able to minimize a steam erosion. To verify the improved model, we produced by applying law of similarity both original dump and improved dump. We have conducted a erosion and pressure measuring test in experiment. Compared to original model, Improved model designed by this study has decreased the maximum velocity of flow on tube surface more than 40%, around 50% in erosion amount, and has improved flow uniformity more than 30%.
This improved model can decrease the frequency of Tube damage by bypass steam and can bring a increaseof condenser utility rate.
