DYNAMICS OF MELTING AND EVAPORATION FRONTS IN PULSED ENERGY ACTION : INFLUENCE OF VOLUME AND SURFACE ABSORPTION
要約
Volume overheating of solid and liquid phases in pulsed laser evaporation of superconducting ceramics is shown and analysed by numerical simulation. The mathematical model includes the processes of heating (with a volume energy release), melting-solidification and evaporation. It is shown that the maximum values of overheating of solid phase (with respect to melting point) exceed a hundred degrees and those of the liquid phase exceed several hundreds degrees (with respect to surface temperature). The times of existence of these metastable states are tens and hundreds nanoseconds, respectively. The dynamics of the process is analysed in a wide range of variation of the coefficient of volume absorption of radiation up to surface absorption.
