要約

Heat transfer and pressure drop characteristics of spirally finned tube arrangements for waste heal recovery from hoi gas have been experimentally investigated. The finned tube banks used in this study had a tube arrangements, tube dimensions, and fin material different from those of air-cooled heat exchangers. It was shown that the heat transfer characteristics of these finned tube banks was greatly different from those of the finned tube with the equilateral triangular tube geometry for the air-cooled heat exchangers. New correlations for the prediction of the heat transfer coefficient and the pressure drop of the finned tube banks for waslc heat recovery were proposed considering the effect of the nonequilateral tube geometry.
