Resonance phenomena at complete vapour condensation in a cooled pipe
要約
In this report, results of experimental research of the forced pressure pulsations at complete vapour
condensation in a cooled pipe and the resonance phenomena are given. The experiments were carried out for
water vapour, which flows through a pipe which colling, by cool water. Experimental results demonstrated that
in the spectrum of pressure pulsation there exists a dominant zone of frequencies with the most preferable basic
frequency that can be considered as the natural frequency of oscillation for a vapour-condensate system. If the
frequency of the forced disturbance and the natural frequency coincide, then a resonance starts developing. The
pressure pulsation profiles, their spectra, and amplitude-frequency characteristics are presented in this paper.
