FREE CONVECTION HEAT TRANSFER WITH INTERNAL HEAT SOURCES CALCULATIONS AND MEASUREMENTS
要約
Free convection in a fluid with internal heat sources was theoretically and experimentally examined for a rectangular and a semicircular cavity. The finite difference method
was applied for the theoretical investigation, and the experiments were carried out with the aid of holographic interferometry. Temperature and velocity fields were calculated and measured, and for heat transfer relationships of the form Nu = f(Gr·Da·Pr) were derived. The Gr·Da range (Pr = 1 ... 80) examined was from 105 to 108 for the rectangular space and from 107 to lOll (Pr = 7) for the semicircular space.
