Résumé

Thermodynamics characteristics of shell side of blade baffle heat exchanger were compared with the helical baffle heat exchanger, the result shows that the blade baffle heat exchanger has excellent performance. The numerical model for the blade baffle heat exchanger were established by adopting periodic models. The performance of shell side of heat exchangers was investigated with different arrangements of baffle: parallel arrangement, parallel arrangement with axial rotating angle and stagger arrangement. It found that the arrangement of the baffles shows obvious effect on the heat transfer performance of the heat exchanger. The staggered arranged baffles could aggravate the shell side flow disturbance and enhances the heat transfer coefficient. The parallel arranged baffles could ensure the continuity of the shell side flow, which leads to a small pressure drop. The axial rotating angle of the baffle could reduce the pressure drop and the heat transfer coefficient slightly. Moreover, the heat exchanger with the parallel-arranged blade baffle has the higher comprehensive performance than the other two.
