Résumé

The aim of the present work is to extend the body of experimental data on the statistical characteristics of thermal turbulent convection for an internal problem. The findings of the experimental study of turbulent thermal convection in a distilled-water filled (Pr = 5 to 7) cubical- shaped cavity heated from below for the range of Ra from 7·107 up to 2·109 have been considered in the present work. There were obtained values of the following characteristics: mean values of velocity, turbulent stresses, turbulent component of heat flux, and also the spectral analysis of fluctuations. Analysis of the findings as well as generalization of a certain amount data have been carried out. The energy analysis has used to establish the items of energy input and output.
