APPLICATION OF ANTHRACITE PARTICLES FOR GAS HEATING BY SOLAR ENERGY
Résumé
Among processes of gas heating by solar energy, there is a special case, where gases are heated by the particles, which, added to these gases, in fact absorb the solar radiation.
On the basis of the scattering theory for spheres (Mie's theory) the reflection efficiency factor has been introduced to determine the intensity scattered back-wards in the solid angle (2П)-. This energy flow is important for the efficiency of solar receivers. So have the calculations for absorption been carried out.
All analyses are based on anthracite particles. The results of the mathematical model show, which largeness of particles is most convenient for the absorption of the solar radiation in gas particle suspension.
