Résumé

The parameters of heat transfer by radiation - emission or reflection coefficients, complex index - in the infrared range are difficult to obtain. We propose new methods which allow, in a polarized or natural light, to calculate these parameters whatever the surface roughness of the material. We created an automatic apparatus where the ambiant radiation - the greatest difficulty of the measurements at low temperatures - is eliminated. Measurements have been done from -100° C on conducting and dielectric materials. The results obtained were applied to heat exchange between two surfaces, and led to the construction of a new type of pyrometer.
