TRANSVERSE TURBULENT MOMENTUM AND ENERGY EXCHANGE IN THE CHANNELS OF COMPLICATED FORM
Sinopsis
The paper reports data on transverse interchannel momentum and energy exchange within pin bundle under a single phase flow conditions. There are presented results of the
hydrodynamical experiments for deformed pin bundle that have been handled in according to original procedure
developed by the authors as well as findings of the thermal tracer experiments carried out in nominal and deformed pin bundles. Data have been compared with the other authors data. Physical views of the process of transverse turbulent exchange, as applied to pin type system, have been
developed and design-theoretical correlations for exchange coefficients have been derived. These correlations
are shown to be in a good agreement with experimental data.
