Sinopsis

Mathematical models of unsteady thermal-hydraulics of nonhomogeneous nonequilibrium low-velocity two-phase flows are considered.
The fully hyperbolic system of field equations has been derived by modifying the system of field equations of a two-fluid drift-flux model. Main peculiarities of low-velocity two-phase flows, such as low rates of parameter changes in time, practically constant pressures along the channel length, etc., were taken into account.
Specifics of constitutive equations used in the model are described, with particular reference to flow maps, dryout quality, droplet entrainment, two-phase level location and velocity. The effective numerical scheme is proposed. The results of model assessment are illustrated.
