Sinopsis

A thermal insulation system for buildings including three ventilated air ducts is presented. The ducts which drives the inside air flow out is a thermal guard for the premises. The two others provide a counterflow heat exchanger between the supplied air flow and the extracted air flow. The analytical computation in steady states enables to size the wall. These results show that great energetic profits are obtained (Heat loss coefficient of the inner slab : 0.3 W/m2.K ; heat exchanger effectiveness : 60 % ).An experimental wall is built to check the results of simulations. 150 thermocouples are put in this wall, and climatic test cells are especially set up on each side. The system is tested under real working conditions and submitted to a step jump in the air flow rate, the heat transfer response is observed and a characteristic time about 10 mn is evaluated. Experimental and theoretical data are compared. An estimate of the heat transfer coefficient in air ducts is achieved too.
