Sinopsis

The steady state heat transfer characteristics of the wall jet on a slowly rotating disc are obtained for constant wall temperature and constant wall heat flux boundary conditions. The temperature distribution was in both cases assumed to be power series where the zeroth term corresponds to that for a radial wall jet. Numerical results for the universal functions proportional to stream function, streamwise velocity and rotational velocity are presented. For the thermal problem, series finctions are presented for a Prandtl number of 0.73.
