Sinopsis

The results of the experimental studies of the two-component heat pipe performance are represented in this paper. The water/ethanol mixture was used as the working fluid. The qualitative mechanism of mass exchange in different sections of the heat pipe is suggested as a model. The value of the power transferred by the heat pipe,as well as the correlation of the evaporator, the condencer, and the transport section lengths practically do not influence the extent of separation of the components in the heat pipe.
