Sinopsis

Heat exchange problems with time dependent boundary conditions are considered for regions of complex geometry. Analytic and numerico-analytic methods of solution are suggested, based on joint application of logic-algebraic [1-3] and finite-difference methods [4] , integral transformations [5] , Duhamel's integral [6,7] and variational principles [8] (in a certain combination for a specific problem). The approach has allowed to solve, for the first time, a number of heat exchange problems with an exact account of the cross-section geometry of the body under analysis, and of the boundary conditions, both stationary and time-dependent.
