Sinopsis

The paper gives the solution of temperature fields in neighbourhood of a system casting-moulds in a course of solidification at casting into axial-symmetric shell moulds. It is a heat transfer by free convection from rough surface in air. Application of calculation methods to these problems is often complicated and inaccurate and thus the experimental access has been choosen. Temperature field is examined by method of holographic interferometry. The method of exact solution of Abel integral equation is used at evaluation of interferograms. The experimental results form the base for respective changes of moulds or cooling regime for reaching the required course of casting solidification.
