COMPUTER SIMULATION OF THERMOPHYSICAL PROCESSES IN SHOCK WAVE GENERATORS
Abstrakt
The thermal processes in the hypersonic aerodynamic shock tube are considered. Feature of the proposed
approach is numerical calculation of processes deriving the quasi-one-dimensional equations of gas
dynamics, using dynamically adaptive grids. Aerodynamic studies in the single diaphragm shock tube are
conducted. Shock tube flows and waves are investigated. The pressure distribution, Mach number
distribution and the temperature distribution are presented. The experimental and calculated time
dependences of the pressure are compared.
