Abstrakt

In the cooling process of high temperature calcined coke, there are some problems such as uneven heat transfer, internal heat emission difficultly and easy oxidation, which affect seriously the quality of calcined coke. This paper utilizes Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) method to perform the heat transfer analysis for the cooling water jacket both on the water side and coke side, and reveals the evolution of the internal temperature field, then puts forward the optimization measures to improve the heat transfer characteristic by arranging heat exchange tube inside the cooling water jacket. The simulation results manifest that the optimal structure of the cooling water jacket can enhance significantly heat transfer characteristic. Compared with the un-optimized structure, the outlet average temperature of calcined coke decreases by 103.59K and the heat transfer characteristic of the cooling water jacket improves greatly. This study may lay a theoretical foundation for the engineering application.
