Abstrakt

In this paper, the wet porous media plate installed on car roof is designed, which is effective for shading and evaporation cooling by using the transport properties of porous media, and saving air-conditioning energy in hot climate. Additionally, the "moving" part can improve environment to some extent. Based on the optimal design idea, the effect of environmental parameters and car speed on cooling characteristics is analyzed by modified one-dimensional controlling equations which describe the heat and mass transfer in porous media.
