HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER IN A SHELL-COIL TYPE ABSORBER OF AMMONIA ABSORPTION HEAT PUMP
Abstrakt
Experimental investigations have been carried out to verify the heat and mass transfer process that occurs simultaneously in a shell-coil type absorber of ammonia/water absorption heat pump. Effects of various operating conditions (solution inlet temperature and concentration, cooling water temperature, and film flowrate of ammonia aqueous solution, etc.) on heat and mass transfer have been investigated. In this study experimental correlations for Nusselt and Sherwood numbers are suggested, and these correlations have an error range of ± 30%
