Abstrakt

The coupled heat and mass transfer during freeze drying process in porous medium was studied both theoritically and experimentally. By use of nonequilibrium thermodynamics method, the one dimentional freeze drying model was developped. The coupling interactions among three main driving forces in heat and mass transfer process were taken into consideration. The numerical method was conducted to simulate the one dimensional heat and mass transfser in freeze drying process. The freeze drying of milk solution samples with different concentration was conducted at different operation conditions. The main parameters which influence the freeze drying process were tested.
