Abstrakt

It is known that boiling heat transfer of the binary mixture is dependent on the concentration difference between liquid and vapor phase. It was also proved that the bubble departure diameter is a function of the binary component concentration.
Recent investigation of boiling heat transfer of single component fluid from the oscillating heating surface has shown dependency of the boiling heat transfer coefficient on the frequency and amplitude of the surface oscillation.
This paper deals with the investigation of the effect of concentration difference between liquid and vapor on the boiling heat transfer from the oscillating surface. It was our purpose to determine the generic mechanism which causes this effect and its relevancy to the boundary layer structure.
Paper describes the measurement techniques and apparatus and presents the obtained boiling heat transfer results for the water - ethylalcohol mixture on the boiling heat transfer coefficient. As a number of modern apparatus are using binary mixture boiling heat transfer, it is of interest to observe the effect of the oscillating surface on the boiling heat transfer coefficient. Since some of the heat exchangers are working underconditions with oscillating surfaces with liquid mixture, this investigation may prove that there are limitations which are to be taken into consideration.
